The Théâtre du Tandem result of the merger of Theatre Blowing Rouyn-Noranda and Theatre Creek Ville-Marie. Le Théâtre du Tandem now has 15 years of active presence in the world of theater, regardless of years of production of the two founding companies. The birth of Tandem Theatre was therefore an accomplishment 21 March 1997. The instant success of the collaboration between the two companies, the need to strengthen the production of professional theater in the region, the need to come together in a context of scarce resources has led both companies to consider their merger. It produces regular season and in the summer, on occasion, regularly throughout the region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue and, and tours shows consistently in Rouyn-Noranda and Ville-Marie, tour outside the region.
